My day is long,
the rain won't stop,
the nonrhythmic song,
my heart just dropped.
My house is cold,
there's no one home,
the words in my head were left untold,
while I sit here all alone.
I looked outside,
the rain has cleared,
I refuse to hide,
I have nothing to fear.
I will succeed,
I have me and that's all I need.
