Paradise
Blue skies as far as the eye could see.
Yesterday was magnificent,
lying on the beach, nothing on your mind.
The ocean's voice sends a calming tone
Today the trees are different,
the leaves are turned up.
The horizon comes closer by the hour,
as the winds bully people trying to return home.
When only yesterday the streets were calm;
everyone was enjoying the view of the ocean horizon.
Now panicked tourists try to leave
before the harsh clouds come.
What once was a paradise,
is now a place of terror.
Everyone acting as animals;
like a lion that runs after its pray
This is no paradise.
It's a jungle!
