gleaming under the moonlight i lie
Gleaming under the silver moonlight I lie
The distance between us my soul wants to deny
With beam lined snowy face I look afar
I look across the universe, beyond the farthest star,
A dwindled picture of times when we were together
They flash in front of me bringing a poignant smile,
All safely locked up in my mind’s vinyl.

Tonight I lie under the moonlight recalling time that’s gone,
Remembering our tête-à-tête that lasted till crack of dawn.

The moonlight and memories of laughter, a mystic ensemble
This profoundly makes me crave to be entangled,
Entangled in the moonlight and be lifted away,
And be placed right next to you on any given day.
We’ll exchange looks and then start all over again,
We’ll reiterate those talks, those smiles, those forgotten laughter
And then never be parted there after.

Gleaming under the silver moonlight I lie
The conjectural distance between us my soul wants to deny.
