Trust is precious

Trust is precious, yet I gave it away. That girl, how was I to know she would ruin me? She seemed nice. She seemed honest. But she told that stupid lie, spread that false rumor, and suddenly all I knew was pulled from beneath me. At least now know who my real friends are, the ones who believed what was true. They are my glue, to keep me from falling apart.
