Ballerina Girl
You bring me up, then watch me fall
But I get back up and spin back into your arms
That is how it goes every time
Spinning in circles happens quite a lot
And the way I fall back into you
It makes it hard to just let you go
But there is something about you
That makes me always come back
In hopes that you’ll lift me up again
My mind is racing, will it work out, will it be ok?
Because you bring me up, then watch me fall
I reach out to you, but no one’s there
I pull myself up and come back to you
But do you even really care?
There is an ending to every show-
Am I yours, or shall I go?
