The Essence of Prejudice
Prejudice is a hole,
at first we can escape,
but as time goes on -the hole gets deeper
and then we are to late.
Prejudice.
Prejudice is a hunger,
for power we do not have,
willing to hurt the ones we love
to boost our social stand.
Prejudice.
Prejudice is a poison,
rushing through our veins,
it travels to our minds
and makes us think in evil ways.
Prejudice.
Prejudice is a costume,
masking our fear,
protecting ourselves is our only thought
who cares who over- hears.
Prejudice.
Prejudice is a pool,
with victims drowning within,
wanting to get out
and be comfortable in their own skin.
Prejudice.
Power, Pride, Prejudice.
Will it ever cease? Will the terror end?
Will wars be fought and tears be dropped
because of something I said?
