Liberation
Could it be that I have stumbled upon,
The liberation my heart could not find?
Cold affection and casualties foregone
Despite spontaneous thoughts that remind
It is a pleasurable foreign sight
For eyes to follow your every outline
Slay my body with a prodigal delight
I am willing to connect with the divine,
Your lips coated with the sweetest poison
Should I feel this breathless as we combine,
As though I am fortunately chosen
To share this satisfying piece of time
With you, where fear and failure will collide
Leaving hopeful dust in which we’ll reside.
