Mind

Empty echoes eternal bounce from boundless beams
Of Silent screams, rebound from mortal dreams
Flowing streams of mangled metaphor
Tell me what we’re living for
The time of day that came before
Cry judgments that we had in store
Among the core, my minds eye see
Spiteful spirits, bound beings free
Snide snipers, profane perched in wait
Play at forgone games of fate
Pray Jesus, prey upon the meek
Get lost in what you wish to seek
You’ll never find eternal joy
Lest you become gods tiny toy
Thus the spirits fled from grace
Free self from useless human race
Can’t keep up this eternal pace
I’m tired of the torrid place
Puke purple pools of perfect prose
‘till heaven overgrows
Till languid lands
Deaths standstill stands
On human fears
Broken years
Breed
Bleed
Die
By
My
I
