An oration
Lying down, a dancer
The dreamer of violence, Cora.
The redness of a beast.
Cora
Was a butterfly,
A rabid distinction
Of good and evil!
Cora
Evanescent Static
A lingering hesitation
Cora
Was a killer
Twister, Manipulator,
The auspicious ringing
In my ears.
Cora.
Was the unsung song,
Weak as the dirty,
Dead grass.
Cora
Reminiscent
Of a ghastly party
L’Amour.
Cora is
The taste.
The back of my throat
Remembers how she tasted.
Cloven
Cheek in tongue
Don’t tell me
Who Cora Was.
