The Breakthrough
I feel like a bird whose wings are golden
but I'm waiting to exhale
I feel for success by God I was chosen
but I'm trapped in a cell
I fell the words in my mind
but they are forbidden to leave
I feel these hands can somehow heal
But they are handcuffed
I feel God is cutting me a deal
But I'm forced to wonder if it's enough
I'm waiting to exhale, waiting to breathe
Waiting from these handcuffs to be freed
But I'm tired of waiting eyes opened wide
I'm coming through and pushing obstacles aside.
