Dreams
The rain against the window puts me to sleep
I doze off into a world of dreams
And into a wonderland I creep
Purses and shoes and soothing creams
Designer clothing, shopping all day
But then I wake up and I want to scream!
And there in the bed, I sit down and lay
“I need to go back.” I said.
So, I just let my mind go astray
It was just as before when I had dozed off in bed
And I bought every sparkling pair of shoes
And for the moment I have to wake up, I dread.
