An amazing time called the teenage years,
Full of happiness, hopes, and fears.
Fights with friends, drama and lies,
Remembering the tears we’ve cried.
First loves, thinking they will never end,
While still keeping up with the latest trends.
Worrying about school and going out,
Breaking rules just to hear parents shout.
Broken hearts and mascara tears,
Cell phone bills and credit card fears.
Clothes too tight and kids getting high,
Out past curfew and another lie.
Drama, boys, happiness, hopes, and fears,
Just a taste of the teenage years.
