Teenage Years
Teenage years are full of tears, Broken dreams and faith. Looking back now thur the eyes of a crowd, I couldn't see his fate. The pain and misery, weary nights, hurtful words an unsheltered life. No one new, No one cared, Just a boy alone and scared. He had no one, He kept to his own, Till the day that he went home. I was his teacher, But not his friend. I din't have time but I went on in. Up the stairs and down the hall, Till I reached an unexpected stop. I found a boy lying on the floor, An empty bottle and I felt so remorse. Shivering I screamed I ran I called the law and waited there amidist it all. If only I Had took the time, I might have helped him change his mind. But it's to late and he is gone, Up above to greet the dawn.
