I wear my plaid shirt.
I wonder;
Will he notice?
I want him to see me,
Sitting here.
Smiling.
Waiting for him to say
Something.
We approach each other.
Open minds,
Whole hearts.
Only a few inches between us.
Cheeks blushing.
Impatience.
Words exchanged.
Back away.
Smiles gone.
Mind fogged.
Hearts broken.
Still wearing my plaid shirt.
