I hope that your life is better now
that you are not in pain,
and you do not realize the mess you left
and that it was really all in vain.
I wish there was a time machine
to take me back to that day
because maybe I could have prevented this
maybe you would have stayed
I pray every night before I go to sleep
that you are somewhere near
but I'm not sure who I'm praying for
you or me, my dear?
