Hands of Death
Her heart is made of fragile glass
one more beat and it just might crack.
tears of blood stained upon her cheeks
watch her fall watch her bleed.
she's trapped like a bird within a cage.
she's full of sadness, full of rage.
she's waiting for the day she can finally be set free,
she'll soar among the stars, she'll fly across the sea.
save her, save her from herself.
get her down from that dusty shelf.
her body is free but her soul is bound,
she gives up, she will never be found.
she painfully takes her very last breath,
as she's snatched away by the hands of death.
