Not Man Enough
This is me.
Nothing interesting.
I see the way you look at me.
Secretly I want it but keep it hidden in my heart.
I want nothing to do with you after you hurt me.
I am your father, you say.
I wonder how this could be if you continue to shrink my confidence.
Those words that leave your mouth...
It's inconvenient that I have to live this lie.
In bed I swell my eyes.
And cry.
I'm alone in this world you say.
But what is true is that in heaven I will lay.
When I am finally free, that's when I will smile.
When I figure out where to lay my head at night, then we will really see.
I once thought that you were big and tough but oops...I forgot.
You're just not man enough.
