Persuade Me
I’m just not,
Never will be,
So don’t try,
To persuade me, to be.
It will take you years,
Maybe decades,
To even come close,
Into my mind.
Unless you run,
To where the moon,
Shines bright,
And capture its beauty,
I will not give in.
So until then,
I say fare well,
For you will never persuade me,
And now I say to you,
Good day.
