America
America, the land where dreams come true
The colors of red, white, and blue
The best place on earth, and freedom to boot
Those born and raised, don’t give a hoot
The grass is always greener on the other side
Of that everyone can abide
But the grass can’t always be greener,
Or so they all say
The American Dream, where it all come true
For freedom, is red, white, and blue
Never given a second thought of what makes it all happen
Where the soldiers do all the major slappin’
The big boys in green, the soldiers at bay
Quite ironic, wouldn’t you say?
The little green men, getting darker from sweat
Dying only, to brighten your lawn, without any debt
