When I was little they called me a liar, but now I'm grown up, they call me a writer.

I sit in the teacher’s classroom.

Dazed and confused. What is she talking about now? Fractions?

I need this grade. I hope I get it soon.

I raise my hand to ask the usual question.

A repetition is more than just a habit.

I am shocked that he did not slap on the rejection.

I listen to his words radiate inside of me.

I cannot understand. I still have not grasped this foreign language.

I start to boil like a steaming bag of tea.

“Can you try a different way?”

The new method is longer, yet clearer.

I think, just perhaps, I have understood it today.

The next test arrives with a big fat 90.2!

I have finally understood fractions, but I have another question I never could answer.

What is 2+2?
