The Red Eyes of the Beast

pierce the heart of anyone who disturbs it,
the beast is uncontrollable,
lashing out at everyone who passes by.
He is trapped in his rod-iron cage,
yearning to be free.
Alone,
in the darkened corners
of the black heart.
the beast knows, no fear,
no hope, no love.
he knows no life.
