I think I was in love with you
all those years ago
even though we were so young
and the idea was so foreign
I think I was in love with you
on those days after school
when you would sit and talk to me
as if you had nowhere to go
I think I was in love with you
but now when you pass by me
no recognition fills your eyes
and I think it might have been a dream
I think I was in love with you
and the memory makes me smile
and though now you don't even look at me
I konw you must remember
because I think you were in love with me too
