Time
What is my worry?
My worry is time
That I won’t have enough
That it’ll pass me by.
Days I don’t appreciate
Nights I’ll never think about
Oblivious to the fact that
These are moments I can’t live without.
Dinners with your family
Drives along the coast
These ordinary dealings
Are the ones that matter most.
Like a circle with no center,
Like a bird without wings,
My life without these moments
Is made up of meaningless things.
