Tears of sorrow
For my broken heart,
Tears of loneliness
For the friends I wish I had,
Tears of worry
For my sister,
Tears of envy
For the brother that I had,
Tears of sadness
For my father, now flying with angels,
Tears of weakness
For the times I didn’t stand up
for what I believed,
Tears of pain
From my countless enemies,
Tears of regret
For the chances I had,
Tears deep in prayer
To the God who is up there,
Tears of hope
It will get better.
