Rain Drops Gather
Rain drops gather on the pedal of a rose
Trickling down they fall upon a stone
Slowly crack , eroding , breaking inside
What destroys a stone keeps a rose alive
Though a rose will eventually wither and die
Shattered broken the stone still lies
Ever exsitant altered and yet the same
A rose blossoms once and than fades away
Just long enough to form a smile
And it's beauty only lasts a short while
The same old story that we all know
A single stone below many a rose
We only love the things that are forced to pass and go
And this is true as time has shown
For no man ever loved a stone
