WILL YOU REMEMBER
WILL YOU REMEMBER
We Remember
Special little things
Happy memories from our Childhoods
Going to Grandmas
On warm Sunday afternoons
But will we remember
Those painful thoughts
Of soldiers at war
Of those who didn’t come home
We often praise God
For what we have now
But would we ever praise Him
For those lives given
To give us our present lives
Lives of freedom
Lives of Hope
Lives of dreams
And close knit friends
Could we ever do what they did
Give our own lives
That a stranger might live
We all want Peace, Hope, and Love
But who of us
Our lives would willingly give
So that our descendants
Could live without fear
Ask Yourself, Would you?
