Never Say Goodbye
I never thought it would happen,
But it happened to me today.
At first I was real nervous,
But I figured out what to say.
I promised I'd never say goodbye,
I promised to keep my word.
When I told my friend about our breakup,
I didn't think you heard.
Tomorrow I'll promise my baby boy,
And I won't be shy.
I'll keep my word and promise that
I'll never say goodbye.
