CHANGELESS
Chanting audibly through the winds, I
Hear their voices. "Tess, we love you!"
Almost believable, at age seven. At eight, she
Nags me, "tie your shoes, please" and I
Giggle, cause I never really liked rules.
Emotionally stable, at nine, I remain
Luminous with Bravery, and when I reach
Eleven, into a million pieces my family will
Shatter, but I have to be brave, I have to be
Strong, for my brother, my mom, my dad; for me.
