I feel pretty senile right now

Everything is so serene

Peace and contentment

Aren't partial to me much

But they came to stay

For some reason or another

Time is taking too long

But it's too short at the same time

People are blinding me

But I think I like it that way

Lies are quite nice

When you accept them

For truth

And maybe it's easier

To live in your head

When all you trust is nothing

And all you believe is

What's right in your face

And maybe it's more enjoyable

To cheat yourself

And smile
