Daddy, Why Did You Do That?

Daddy, why did you do that?
Why did you shake me?
I’m in a coma now,
And I know I won’t be let free.
You should have let me cry,
Laid me in the crib, and walked away.
Maybe I wouldn’t be in this coma.
But because of you, now I cannot stay.
Make sure you tell mommy,
That I really love her.
And it makes me sad to think,
That I will never feel the little puppy’s fur.
Well, I guess this is goodbye.
I just wanted to know why.
But I guess I will never know,
Why I just had to die.
