Men Never Cry
There were copper headed ponies,
And it was snowing in July.
The day you turned your back on me,
You said men never cry.
And have you heard of the boy,
Who cried and cried all of his friend
Who told him this was the very end
The halls are filled with phonies,
All I hear are lies
All you did was slam the door on me
And you found
That men really do cry.
Have you heard of the boy,
Who cried and cried all of his friend
Who told him this was goodbye.
The leaves were falling in spring,
The sun was out at night
You came and laid your hands on me,
And you said
So men really do cry?
Have you heard of the boy,
Who smiled because he found a friend
Who said, this is not the end.
