Fighting For One Last Breath

Crying.
The air is filled with tears.
Nothing you say can help.
Make it all stop.
The pain inside, unbearable.
It strikes you by suprise.
It may be the worst thing possible.
Life can be so cruel.
Why does disease strike us?
Why can't we just live in peace?
Cancer kills many.
Without any cure.
We are all victims to this blackness.
There is nothing we can do.
Just sit and wait.
One day we may fix this mess.
Losing someone is hard.
Wishing that time could change.
This disease will die.
Hopefully someday.
