From Dusk to Dawn
The wind that whispers through these ancient trees
Has the same breath as the new sea breeze.
For the moment the hourglass is turned the sand begins to slip away,
And the sun that sets today
Will rise again tomorrow.
The stars move across the sky,
Like pale, sparkling, dazzling gems,
Ever studied,
Ever marked,
But Your stars won’t change unless you change them.
Time is precious,
Use it well,
Morning bells make way for the Death Knell,
For the sun that sets today,
Shall rise again tomorrow.
Only two things in life are certain,
That it will end when the end comes,
For time cannot be borrowed,
But until it does,
From dusk to dawn,
The sun that sets today,
Shall rise again tomorrow.
