The Pianist
Her eyelids close, for only a second it is black
Until she puts her fingertips on the keys
And then she sees the music in bright vibrant colors
Bursting with life
She can feel the music
Pulsing inside of her
Dying to let the world hear its powerful song
Her fingertips flutter over the keys as she plays the instrument
She can not stop
For she is lost in the sound echoing in her head,
The music bringing her into a new world
She is free and dancing
Her sound is beautiful
It is lively and sweet
For she is the sound
The sound that frees the soul
She is the music
