"I'm Loven it."

I was dreaming
Bout the small boy dying,
Bout the small girl crying like a thousand fallen angels

Bout the tall boy screaming,
Screaming from those emotional scars
Of those battles fallen.

It was then that I realized:
No more time for talking,
No more time for walking,
Through those dreams of the three together
Running and playing in that beautiful sunny weather.
Because…

The battles are falling,
And the soldiers are calling,
We need everyone away,
We’re going to war
And the battles need won
By the U.S. of A.

The little girls and
The little boys
Are helping all they can.
They want to go home,
They want to be kids again…
But they can’t.

Because the battles are falling
And the soldiers are calling,
We need every one away.
We’re going to war
And the battles need won,
By the U.S. of A.

The soldiers are here,
It’s been over a year,
They’ve been fighting for our rights.
Some will never again have home in their sights
But they’re so strong they keep moving on…

Ages differ; it’s as if it doesn’t matter
Because to them freedom is
Worth the ultimate price,
Their lives…

Now the war is done,
And bittersweet reunions have begun.
Families unite, no more fights,
But some realizations have dawned;
Husbands, wives, daughters and sons
Paid the ultimate price…
They gave their lives.

This poem was dedicated to those who have given their lives for us. I hope that people who read this will realize that soldiers give more for this country than anything. That they need our support.

I wrote this poem... I wrote this back when my aunt came back from the war. She came in 2005 i believe. When she came back she was wounded inside and out. There is so much she can't do because of fears she now has. i love all of our soldiers and wish they would come home safely.
