So, she lay with her own essence
the red mixing in her raven threads
Her cheeks matching the blue tinged lips
as her eyes viewing the dancing dead
She’s unaware of the gathering crowd
as day breaks upon her final hour
Flashing stars seem to fade as
the curtains zip around her
The darkness envelopes she is deep
as she stumbles off stage, her breath gives one last frozen sigh
And so her performance is over
