My Desires
Inside looking out,
I see a bright beautiful sunshine, as if it were my friends smiling faces staring back at me, and an old oak tree swaying in the breeze,
I hear dogs barking and birds singing,
It smells like a fresh spring day with blossoming flowers, and fresh cut grass,
I feel like a prisoner being kept from my one true desire, being outside,
Without my window, I don’t have the freedom of being with my friends on a
Beautiful day,
My window will be opened again!
