Soccer
We play the game,
Not for fun,
But for a challenge,
A challenge for our body and minds,
We look for a goal,
No a goal to reach, a win.
We seek help and love,
From others seeking the same.
We see the joy,
As tears pour down cheeks,
And hugs become powerful,
Powerful enough to break the happiness,
We don't want the feeling to diminish.
We grew, we worked,
We gave all we had,
80 minutes.
We proved ourselves,
From inside out,
We gave all we could put in,
Blood, sweat, tears,
Broken physically and mentally,
We don't stop, we push.
You'll never see the end,
Nor the beginning again.
