I don't Want
I don’t want to be a famous politician.
I just want to be myself.
I don’t need a humongous mansion.
I don’t wish I was someone else.
Material things won’t buy my desires,
No chains, no rings, no fancy tires,
I don’t need cars,
I don’t need cash,
I don’t need fans asking for autographs,
I don’t need Grammies,
I don’t need fame,
I don’t need billboards displaying my name,
What do I need? I ask as I lay on my bed.
I need to do what God wants………’nuff said.
“Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is – his good, pleasing and perfect will.” -Romans 12:2
