Counting Minutes
I wake up
starring at the clock
you aren't here
feels like you never were.
The hours seem long
until I see your pretty face can I wait that long?
I feel as if my soul
has lost it's hope
finding it harder to breathe
you aren't here to save me.
If only you had wing's
you would be an angel
sent to rescue me from this nightmare
you lost yourself
blinded by innocence
Take me there with you
to that forbidden place
there in our dreams
we'll run forever
and never look back.
