Listen To Me Once: My Power of Words
Every time I talk to you
It’s like I am not there.
Every time I look at you
It’s like I am the invisible one.
I feel so bad
I just want to cry,
But it’s always impossible
Because you’ve always said that
Crying is a sign of weakness.
Can’t you ever take the time
To say that you understand
Or be there to help out?
I really feel the pain from you
Never being there and
The stuff you put me through.
Now I do the same to you,
and I understand that that it’s not fair,
But you told me that:
LIFE ISN’T FAIR!
Please listen to me
Because
As fast as I came
I can leave ten times faster.
Please start doing what I ask,
Because
I need you to:
Trust me,
See me,
Understand me,
And believe in me.
I love you and all,
But your attitude
Can cause me not
To love you for long.
So please listen to me,
And in exchange,
I will be just fine.
