Marriage
What she wants from him
She is sixteen.
He wants it, too
He is her best friend
Only because she has forgotten me
I hate him
He hates me
She has talent,
Energy,
Goals.
All will be interrupted by him
He brings her boil
To a low simmer
But,
She thinks he is perfect
He is far from perfect
Though, I am the only one to see it
I hate him
He hates me
I can’t stop them
I won’t even try
That would cause pain.
Just like him, though,
I love her too
