"It's easy to stand in a crowd, but it takes courage to stand alone"

I don’t like to cry when you’re not here,
But sometimes I can’t stop that one lonely tear,
They roll down my face one at a time,
Look closely; they’re there in a single file line,
Rolling down my face so painfully slow,
My heart breaks down when I watch you go,
They roll down my face every which way,
There’s so many things I wish I could say,
They just keep coming; they’re never ending,
My heart wasn’t made for all of this bending,
As they roll down my face, they’re so very cold,
The first day I met you, my heart was sold,
I wish I could tell you what needs to be said,
But If I did that, I must’ve been dead
