In Ghakins Rope
In Ghakins Rope- lie our souls
Fought for a cause. So steep
They once dwelled on contend earth
Now together we grief their death
Heaps of manned sheep- now asleep
Today they ascend with their never forgotten strength
In our minds to the end of time
Now we wait for our spiritual rebirth
In Ghakins Rope- the cock never crows
Day and Night, we weep
Soldiers are friends
Today we remember- manned sheep, never asleep
though they fell to the slopes
lets put on the cape of good hope
for poppies grow
In Ghakins Rope - lies their souls
creep and leap
we wish them a war-free sleep
deep
