Summer
June is excitement,
The first mornings of freedom
Are filled with heat and boredom,
But night brings friends and entertainment.
July is full of pink petals and blooming begonias
Overcrowded beaches are like my second home.
I’m never alone,
Family and fireworks keep me company.
August comes too soon,
Blistering heat
Melts the ice cream I eat.
And then September comes.
