Can You Feel It
It's in the wind
trouble.
Can you hear it?
feel it?
I can feel it
every time you
take the pills.
When will it stop?
Where will it end?
I'm afraid
to tell you to stop
but I'm also afraid
of the monster you're becoming.
Now I know
you can't feel it.
The drugs, they are
numbing your mind
feeding on your soul.
All I can do is watch
and silently weep.
