Ode to the Light
Radiant glowing orb of light
My fears do you slay
And the shadows, you fight
So slumber at night, I may
I love you because it’s dark and off
But forever beside me, a companion yet
Your importance and grace do many scoff
Until you busts into light and spark again
Flick of my finger, I’m never alone
You represent more then you are
Flares of fire to warm those chilled bone
Guiding my path so I do not stray far
For in the beginning was light,
Only God created this glorious might
So when walking from day into night
You always follow the light to heaven’s flight
