As I Walked In

As I walked in
She laid there
Without any type
Of movement
As I walked in
I thought
What should I say?
As I walked in
To her room
I thought
What would she
Say to me?
As I walked into
The room I turned
Myself around and
Walked back out
Because I could
Not face her
Then as I walked into her
Hospital room again to take
One final look at her
Before I cried
Because she would
Never answer me again
As I walked out of the room
I ran back in because I had
To hold her one more time
