A Colorless Love in Mind
I see openspace with continuing echos of
black and white feelings of pain and joy.
Bleeding fromthe visible wounds
of my empty hands.
Falling onto my shadow,
creating liquid bodies,
adding more mystery
than shame.
I close my eyes to see a more empty picture
visions impaired by left hooks to the heart
Jabbings and stabbings
my vulnerability,
using the word love.
So legs part like clouds with the sun shining down.
Making false hopes rain out,
onto my premature dreams.
As I swallow your seeds.
Doubt holds me by the neck,
while my feet dangle over self-pity,
swimming in her depression,
stressing over you.
I see open space with continuing ehcos of black and white feelings of pain and joy.
Bleeding from the visible wounds
ofmy empty hands.
Still willing to love.
