But We Have Not Fallen
Who could commit such an act of hatred?
The flag meaning liberty is slowly elevated
In the surrounding wreckage of what used to be.
What used to stand as high as the sky
A fierce giant that never stood alone
And plummeted just like her sister
I still hear the screams and the cracking of the inferno
I am still able to still inhale the smoke and taste the ashes
I will never forget the smell the of that endless flame
And heat against my face
We may have been attacked
But we have not fallen
